Young Carers

It can be hard work being a young carer.  Looking after someone can feel very lonely and difficult at times. Sometimes, being a young carer can get too much to deal with on your own. We’re here to listen and help you get support. You can ask us anything you like – it will always be confidential, anonymous and there will never be any judgment from us.

  • feeling stressed by too much responsibility

  • struggling to cope with other people’s mood
  • having no time for yourself
  • missing school
  • feeling embarrassed about your situation
  • being bullied
  • experiencing low self-esteem, anxiety, anger or guilt
